Born in 1970 in Kuwait, he studied Computer science and accounting at the University of Kuwait.
After graduation, he joined the marketing of Kuwait Aviation Services, where he was responsible for the ground handling and catering (1994 – 1996).
In the period between 1996 and 1998, Humoud worked with the Kuwait Investment Authorities, which is an autonomous government body responsible for the management and administration of the General Reserve Fund (GRF), the Future Generations Fund (FGF) and other funds entrusted to it by the Ministry of Finance for and on behalf of the State of Kuwait.
His next step led him to Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC), which is a leading financial institution offering a comprehensive range of financial services to promote private enterprises and support economic growth in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
In Kipco Asset Management (2005 – 2008), one of the largest holding companies in the Middle East, as well as at Al Madina for Investment & Finance Co. (2008-2011), Humoud worked in marketing and as a vice chairman.
Since 2011, Humoud has been a member of the Thukhur Club. This club was set up by the Government of Kuwait to manage projects carrying out Kuwait’s development plans.
Due to his internal view of the Middle East on strategic setup and plans, Humoud is the ideal director for V-Coins being responsible for the next market development in the area.
Humoud is actively involved in numerous social projects in Kuwait. His primary ‘hobby’ is developing restaurants, bars, and recreation centers in his country with a long-term ambition to improve that sector for the Kuwaiti people.
